Cernunnos

'In certain parts of the island
there is a people called Welsh, so bold and
ferocious, that, when unarmed, they do not
fear to encounter an armed force; being
ready to shed their blood in defence of their
country, and to sacrifice their lives for renown.'
King Henry V of England
Mina

Unfortunately no pretty meanings behind the name. Though doing a search it apparently means 'South'. So perhaps a little appropriate considering my current displacement in Wales. My home is considerably South of here, New Zealand. Beautiful country and greatly missed.

I've been here from the mud's conception some year and a bit ago. When I started I had no idea about mud coding, but since then have slowly developed my skills. No way near the level of Cernunnos or Daedelus but I get by. I can make minor changes and small installations and improvements. I tend to concentrate more on the website, forums and design side of things.
Daedelus

daedelus@shadowsiege.com

Daedelus Raskalnikov Metrinomer was born to a hydro-electric plant operator and housewife in Suburbia, California, during the quiet end of the Third American Revolution. He and his one, just-older brother were raised on the Holy Spirit, gumdrops, and television while being--more or less wisely--kept out of the traditional education system. He got through school pretty well. At the end of his childhood, Daedelus played a lot of soccer, but the idea of the love of physical exercise was mostly beyond him. Somewhere around the early '90s, he lost interest with White American Heroes and thus, after ritualistically shaving his body, moved to the high desert, where he lost his virginity to Kurt Cobain, Walt Whitman, and Sartre. Somewhere around the mid-90s, he discovered the Internet (and a little later, the Web), where, like a dive bar, he learned to put on a persona and visit weekly. Somewhere around the beginning of this century, he married a nice girl and moved to a little village in the Mid-East, but that didn't work out--mostly because Daed was too far from the sea. They had no children. Not long afterward, he began bumming around the West Coast, teaching Psychic Language courses at the community college via telepathy, writing poetry, and thinking about all the books he'll probably never write until he re-stabilized a synchronous orbit above Seattle in a constant state of mild intoxication, where he now lives.
